Artist statement:
“Inspired by Salvador Dali’s The persistence of memory, 1931, I borrowed Dali’s melting clock to fall like a blanket over my muse.
Like Dali, I wanted to draw familiar subject matter in an unfamiliar way.”
The original artwork was first exhibited in my solo exhibition, 'Mid-sentence' at Gatakers Artspace in Maryborough, QLD in April - June 2022.
The original artwork was sold in the 'Little Feature' August exhibition at Aspire Gallery.
Artworks are best preserved out of direct sunlight behind a glass frame or photo album.
