Artist statement:
Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans, 1962 are synonymous with the Pop Art movement, representing a society on the cusp of mass consumption. In Consume, 2023 I revisit this powerful imagery to explore our relationship with consumerism in the decades since Warhol’s ground-breaking work. The can of tomato soup, a symbol of convenience and mass production, stands as a representation of the packaged, processed nature of our modern diet.

This artwork was carefully drawn with high quality pencils on the prestigious Magnani 1404 cold pressed fine art paper.

Professionally framed by Wide Bay Art Gallery; with d hook and string attached ready to hang on your wall.

Artworks are best preserved out of direct sunlight.
Colours and brightness may vary from screen to print.

Packaged with love and shipped from Australia.
Your artwork is very special and needs to be handled with care once received.
